Dr. Anne Allbright is an experienced international online educator who founded Allbright Global Academy after more than two decades of teaching and leading programs across multiple countries and educational systems. She has worked in international schools and educational institutions in Japan, the Middle East, throughout Europe, Mexico, and the United States. Elementary classrooms, high school programs, university entry courses, and higher education — Dr. Allbright has taught across all of it, on four continents, and carried something meaningful from every experience. That breadth didn't happen by accident. Dr. Allbright has always been drawn to the edges of education — the places where different systems, cultures, and ideas meet. It is precisely that curiosity that led her, eventually, to online education.

Dr. Allbright specializes in online education and designed Allbright Global Academy from the ground up with that expertise at its core. For her, the online classroom is not a compromise — it is an opportunity. An opportunity to build something more flexible, more globally inclusive, and more honest than many traditional school models allow. She has taught across a wide range of curricula, including the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP), as well as AP courses, IGCSE, and non-exam driven track programs. That depth of experience is woven into every course at Allbright Global Academy — ensuring students receive instruction informed by the highest international standards, whether or not they are pursuing a formal examination pathway.

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Allbright has coached MUN and Debate, guided students through university and career planning, and spent over a decade directing study abroad programs that took students out of their comfort zones and into the world. She has also taught at university level for more than ten years — which means she knows exactly what awaits students on the other side of high school, and prepares them accordingly.

There came a point in her career when Dr. Allbright realized she was spending more time navigating institutional priorities than actually teaching. Decisions were being made without teacher input. Classrooms were growing larger. The things that make education genuinely transformative were quietly being deprioritized in favor of the things that looked good on a balance sheet. That was the moment Allbright Global Academy was born. She believes that when teachers are empowered, students benefit. And when students are given agency, encouragement, and meaningful opportunities to lead, they thrive.

Allbright Global Academy was created to reimagine education as a collaborative, globally minded, student-centered experience — one that values curiosity, empathy, innovation, and authentic learning above all else.
