Years 11 and 12 at Allbright Global Academy are not about covering content — they are about developing the intellectual tools to understand, argue, and act in a complex world. Students engage with Advanced Placement-style courses in History, Global Politics, Sciences, Mathematics, and English Language & Literature, alongside a rich menu of electives chosen to match each student's university goals and personal interests.
Our required courses share a common thread: every subject asks students to look beyond their own experience, interrogate evidence, and form well-reasoned positions. Whether dissecting the causes of the Cold War, modelling an ecosystem, or analysing a political speech, our students graduate as disciplined, curious, and genuinely global thinkers.

How our week is structured
Live classes run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday — all between 10:00am and 1:45pm EST. Wednesday is reserved for clubs, independent study, and scheduled examinations. Core and elective classes are also supported by a series of recorded lessons covering content, skills, and homework guidance — giving students the flexibility to revisit material and work at their own pace.
Time Zones
For families in Europe, our live session window falls between 3:00–8:45pm Central European Time.
For families in the Gulf region, 5:00–10:45pm GST — fitting naturally around activities, sport, and evening family life.
Wednesday: clubs, not classrooms
Wednesday is one of the things our students love most about Allbright Global Academy. Instead of a full day of classes, students choose from our club programme — developing skills, interests, and friendships that go far beyond the academic timetable.
Friday Horizons
Every Friday from 1:00–1:45pm EST, all students — Years 9 through 12 — come together for Horizons. This shared session brings the whole school community into one space for university advising, portfolio development, professional skills, and guest speakers from around the world.

From Year 11, students receive dedicated university guidance as part of the Allbright Global Academy programme. We help students understand their options, present their strengths, and build applications that reflect who they genuinely are — not who a formula says they should be. Our guidance covers universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and beyond.
Guest speakers from the real world
Our students don't just read about the world — they hear from the people shaping it. Guest speakers join our classes throughout the year: documentary filmmakers investigating the human cost of climate change, lawyers representing asylum seekers at the frontlines of international law, representatives from civil society organisations influencing policy at the United Nations and beyond. These conversations are not extras — they are part of the education.

Between Years 10 and 11, students have the opportunity to join our on-site learning experiences — immersive trips that connect what students have studied in the classroom to the places, institutions, and landscapes where history was made and is still being made.
